Background - This is an ex, that i care about deeply. We split say 15 months ago, alot of the problems between us were my fault, allowing past relationships to affect a current one. However, we have continued talking and seeing each other on occasion. Since the split, i have done alot and i mean alot of soul searching to improve myself. Books i have read, online forums, and talking to other about myself. And believe me, when we split I didnt think I had a chance of making up for my mistakes. Now the question - I have not talked to my ex in little over a week and a half. I just got this text message out of the blue: Her: "I am confused. I feel so comfortable with you and I know you've made a whole lot of good changes. I am scared of long term things going back to the way they were." Should I not response? Should I say something reassuring? Should using some kind of a agreeing reply? |
