| Post subject: | Where do I begin? |
Hey guys, I'm new here and looking for some general advice. I'm a 20 y/o sophomore in college with limited experience with girls. I'm not a virgin, but I've never had a long term girlfriend and almost all of my hookups have been due to me and the chick being really drunk. My only experience with pick up artistry has been reading the game, I really haven't applied any of the concepts to real life yet. If anyone has any general strategies for starting off the game I would appreciate it. I would like to learn how to run game better when I'm sober and also when I'm in a party environment. I just want to know the basics so I have a good starting point. If anyone could let me know what I should be doing at this point, what threads I should read ect. I would really appreicate it! Thanks Guys |

Basics: Inner game > everything else. Seriously, you can read up a bunch of techniques, memorize routines but it's like giving an old car a new paint job. It's still an old car that slowly changes auto-parts as the PUA gets better. Develop a good inner game leads to an attractive lifestyle is sort of equivalent to starting off with a new car every time. |

What iLoveTurtles said 100%. Inner game is where it's at, man. There are tidbits of info out there that'll help you along the way. One I'd recommend is How to Instantly Connect With Anyone. It's a journey that never ends. Don't let that discourage you though; recognizing that you need to improve and actually making a decision to do so will put you on the right track. The road is rough at first, but once you start, it gets loads easier. Also, The Game was a book of fiction. If you found it in the Self Help section of the bookstore, it was miscategorized. Take it for what it was, a book, which is written for its entertainment value and subsequent profit. |
