Hi guys, First post on here, sorry that its a question straight away, but this issue is making me quite down. No doubt you'll get a laugh or two out of what I'm about to say. I'm scared of going to pubs/clubs and parties. I'm afraid of confrontation and or getting my head punched in. I'm a lover not a fighter, just a chilled out dude. I've never been in a fight or argument in my 20 years on this earth. How often do people get into fights at these places? Is it mostly people with big mouths looking for trouble? |

Your fears are a bit irrational pal. It is usually Douchebag + Douchebag = Fight, so if you dont go out as a Douchebag looking for a fight then your chances of getting in a fight are EXTREMELY slim. And if some dude ever does try to start something, just tell security, that's what they're there for. Hope this helps... |

I use to be a nice guy, completely harmless. Not scared of fights or anything, but definitely not wanting to confront anyone over anything. Even the smallest things, I would say "it's okay" or "it's fine". I had no self respect for myself. People may call you a douchebag, but sometimes you need to learn to stand up for yourself because if you don't stand up for yourself and learn to respect yourself. No girl will respect you. That's not to say that you go looking for fights now. The main point of a party is to have fun. So go have fun, meet women...build camaraderie. |

If you wanna hook up, date, or even make friends with cute girls, your gonna have to man up. If not, then don't even try to meet girls, you will not succeed. |

Last time I got into a fight was because some low-life bitch smacked my girlfriend's ass outside a pub a year ago. 2 seconds later he was chewing my fist.I have a huge tolerance if someone talks shit to me.I stand my ground but very rarely do I get physical. Touch my girl though , specially if I care about her , I don't even waste time opening my mouth. Your ass is getting terminated immediately. I got a little wrecked myself cuz they were 3 and I was 1. But the guy who started all this was picking scattered pieces of his face from the ground , so yeah. Point is, in these situations you either walk away tail between you legs looking like / beeing a pussy , or , even though you know you're gonna get your ass kicked from the very start, at least you can hit as hard as you can and walk away with pride.A bruise will go away in 1-2 days.Pride damage sticks around way longer. You'll fantasize every night about how if you could do it again you'd destroy that guy's face.Plus you might get some "oh,you're so brave" sex. Don't be afraid of confrontation. It's just like pick-up. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But as long as you pussy out , you're always the loser. |

Depends on the country/state you are in. Where I live, the clubs/bars where fights are more likely to occur have more security. And you're talking multiple 300 lb dudes that are 6' 4". That usually dissuades people from getting too combative. I think that most fights/confrontations at bars happen between two people who are both looking for trouble. If you are willing to avoid fighting then it won't be an issue. |

I go out A LOT for quite a long time and I never saw an actual fight in a club/pub/bar or anywhere. I saw something that resembeled a bitch slapping contest between two drunk guys once dough:) So you should be fine. |
