Post subject:  Seeing ex for the first time in 2 months

Right so basically I have to see my ex on Sunday to give her some clothes back/so she can give me my clothes back blah blah blah...

This girl is my first girlfriend. Never really wanted a girlfriend before, was always pretty casual but when I met her I wanted to be with her.

But surprise surprise the first love didn't last and then we left uni for the christmas break (just returned yesterday).

Just after we broke up I was naturally pretty upset and rejected her when she asked to be friends. She continued talking to me and then I decided that I may as well try to be nice to her (probably a big mistake). Since then she's clearly been fucking with me (short blunt texts etc...very out of character for her btw) and I'm aware that it's probably because the power has been handed back to her.

Now what I want from this is to either be friends with her or to completely never see her again - however, the second one isn't really an option (friends are all friends with eachother etc and I can't avoid her).

So basically I need some advice as to what to say on Sunday. I want to come across nice but not needy and I'm very wary of the fact that I might say the wrong thing. Usually pretty smooth with girls but I'm not good in these situations.

If it were possible to avoid her from now on then I'd absolutely be able to just take the clothes with a 'hi' and 'bye' but obviously as I've said before, I don't want to make an enemy of her.

Any suggestions? Pretty standard break up related question I'm sure but this is my first gf so not a familiar situation to me.

Thanks!

So you need advice on how to have a nice conversation related to giving someone their belongings?

How about: "Hi, how have you been? Good. Here's your stuff. Take it easy. Later."
