I prefer day-game, and going to the mall 7 minutes from my home. On Wednesdays there is the Adult English Language Conversation Club on the 2nd floor. I am an unlicensed English teacher and I pretend to be moderator of the club. I pretend to make a survey in the mall, (and I tend to loose 60% of my approach anxiety). I can even approach father/daughter sets! The worst thing may happen they say Go away, and I can open the next set. Everybody has to speak English to get a job in my city, so I am surrounded with 300.000 potential students!
So I say with survey: Hello, do you speak German?
And HB says: No, why?
I: There is free language club on Wednesdays, and I am moderator.
HB: Really?
I: I am making this survey on how to teach realistic language skills, do you have 3 minutes?
HB: No, yes, I don't know (ADHD, dyslexia, low IQ etc).
I: OK, who was the stupidest teacher you have ever seen?
HB: ?
I: What is your favourite English textbook?
HB:?
I: What is the secret of learning a foreign language?
Bla, bla, bla bla bla blabla blan..................................................................................
All I want to suggest that all other teachers are boring and bad, I am the only right English teacher who can teach them slang English used in bars, pubs, disco's, parties etc, and it is different than state textbook!
Also I say: of course all books are bad, so I had to develop my own English Language Video Course, (video because students are visual) it takes place in the disco!
