Post subject:  Been too much of an asshole
I went on a date with this girl a few days ago, i thought it went well, but on hindsight i used too many negs and was too cocky, as a lot of people have been commenting on this behaviour lately. I texted a cheeky push and pull text a couple days after "hey i saw this otter on t.v and it reminded me of you, hope your doing okay."
And she didn't text me back, i have a bad feelling that i have upset her. Is there anyway i can regain this, just to make sure things are cool between us, as I'm pretty sure my negs and teasing have resulted in offending her.

Damn i need to calibrate.

I thought the jokey push and pulls were a positive thing to do ?
how can i recover from this and damage control, taking in mind she's not contacting me back at all.

The otter line is class, definitely going to be using that one, haha!

Push, pull and negs work but only when done right. If you're doing nothing but negging her shes not going to want to be around you. We've all been there, I've found that I tend to over neg whenever I get nervous. Doesn't happen so much now though.

Damage control is tricky on this one, the fact that she didn't text back isn't a good sign if I'm honest, maybe cut down with the negging and throw some compliments her way, be genuine, build her up. The idea of a neg is to be playful but also to disarm her and disqualify yourself.

Negging a HB6 will not work, you should only really neg HB8 or higher

Doesn't really matter how hot they are. What matters is how they see themselves in rapport with you.If a hb1 feels superior to you a neg WILL work on her. If a hb10 feels inferior to you , a neg won't help out too much.

Yes,in general the hotter they are the more negs they can take , but in essence , it's about where they feel they are in rapport to you.

The inferiority / superiority I'm talking about isn't related purely to physical aspect. Things like social skillz , intimidation level , 'presence' ,social proof all work towards this.

I was joking. You basically insulted her. But it could have also been that she just lost interest in you. If she was interested in you and was insulted, she'd have let you know.

She needs to understand your sense of humour. If her resembling an otter is something you've previously talked about, or a similar animal, then yes it's appropriate. However, if it's never ever been brought up before, then she's telling herself... "what the fuck?"

I should of clarified although, be it random, we didn't talk about this and joked around about what animals people looked like, so it wasn't completely off the chain.
Im thinking i will leave it for a few days and then text her normally.
i have to learn how to calibrate however, like yesterday when i was hugging this hb9 before she went home i said "hmm you smell really familiar" and she just looked like "wtf".

Oh well we live and learn eh, i am really throwing all the stuff out there and seeing what works and what doesn't.

True. But generally, the less attractive a girl is the softer the neg has to be. You couldn't walk up to a HB6 and open with "You're a bitch, wanna know why?" because she'd blow you out instantly, but you could walk up to a HB10 and use that opener.

If she has no SOH then who cares. the least she could do would be to ask you what u meant.

She's comes from a different country, so makes sense why she didn't get it.

Anyway i held off for a few days and then started normal conversation with her and she is very responsive so hey.
Im going to calibrate more in the future though :P
But i will keep sending texts like that
