She texted me twelve hours later...?

Post subject:  She texted me twelve hours later...?
In college, me and this girl went and grabbed coffee for like an hr, had a good time, been talking for a few days afterwards but she always takes like over an hour to respond. we were talking last night for a bit and I fall asleep and text her when I wake up... it then takes her twelve hours to respond to the text... What does this mean???

even if when she responded it was saying like oh my bad i was doing such and such... it was just like continuing a conversation from like 12 hrs ago?

Well if she apologized and said she was doing something, don't sweat it. Take control of the conversation. If a girl texts me back 12 hours later saying she was doing blah blah, I wouldn't respond... I would wait a few hours to a day, and then start a completely new conversation without even mentioning the 12 hour silent period if I didn't want to continue the old one.

Sometimes i take a day to respond, i wouldn't worry about it, depends on the girl and depends on the conversation.

You can't be expected to communicate normally after having waited that long. Don't put much effort into texting that person. Try calling instead.
