Post subject:  Debating whether or not to ask her about this directly...

Hello,

I need to get some input regarding this girl I started to see, as this situation is something new to me:

This girl is an HB8; some of the positives - smart, caring, great career outlook. We had sex on our second time out, and she stayed over for the night. I genuinely like her, and I think there is long term potential.

I have been in a Bad relationship before with someone who totally broke my trust, and now, I have a problem with trust.

The other day, she was talking about her vacation and was talking about this very touching conversation she had with someone, who was telling her his life's story. Knowing a bit about NLP, and how she hesitated a few times and went and changed parts of the story while she was talking about, I think she's not being totally honest with me.

We are not in a relationship yet at this point, but she's been hinting at it.
But, if she did sleep with that person, and, knowing what she told me about this person's past, I would consider that reckless behavior on her part, and definitely a no-go for a long term relationship.

Do you think I should bring up my concern with her? (I have caught her lying before, about small things.) She mentioned she can't wait to see me again, the last time we talked. But I'm losing sleep over this, because I would not want to waste my time with her if I know she's displayed such reckless behavior before ....as I feel that there may be high chance she might do it in the future. Am I over analyzing this? Thanks for your help.

I know it's hard but never bring your past relationships into your new ones. Fear of being hurt will never keep you from getting hurt , it will keep you from being happy.

Everything you do because of fear is something you will soon regret.

Be open and don't distrust people without a reason. If you feel she's holding back just tell her you know it.

I'm somewhat of a poker player so I really have an eye for bluffs or dishonesty. However,if I'm not sure I always play that card:"Hey,I've been playing poker for years with liars far better than yourself. Now be honest."

It's just a line in the sand for me. I hate dishonesty. You cannot have a successful relationship with someone who's dishonest.

Anyway , I don't really think she cheated on you because if she had , she would've tried to cover every aspect about that guy. I doubt she would've told you anything at all about him.

Thank you very much for the well thought-out input, appreciate it. Shall try to give her the benefit of doubt for this time, shall not bring up my concern with her at this point.
