Hey dudes. Not really a problem here but more of an interesting question! Back story: I am on a course at the moment and have been on it a week and a half. I have been flirting with this chick that is sat next to me who is 10 years older than me but she is a super fox! Just something about her...you know the kind...real quiet and polite..looks like a secretary...ha! There is constant IOI's and kino going down...her leg is pretty much attached to mine all day under the table! Anyway, the course ends at the end of this week so I though I better sort this sh*t out and get her on a date. So, at lunch I got out a deck of cards and we were just messing about and playing cards so I saw my opportunity and did a card trick. I said "let's make a bet...If I get your card right...I get to take you out for a drink next week......and if I don't get it right...then you get to let me take you out for a drink next week!" She giggled and agreed...I won the bet and there was another burst of flirting etc... Anyway after that..her body language completely closed up.. Like she couldn't get further away from me! I was like whoa...she barely even talked to me...didn't look at me...Anyway, I though f*ck it and did the same and ignored her! Towards the end of the day, I was back on form and she was back to normal... I thought maybe she felt tricked into going on a date with me or perhaps pressured...So I checked after the class and asked her if she did because I will ask her properly if she wants I have looked everywhere for an answer or a solution but I can't figure it out... Like I said..not a problem..I would just like to know for future reference...and out of interest So any body language guru's feel free to post an opinion! and/or how to combat it Cheers guys Jet.. |

That's common. She broke rapport. Basically what happens is girls get all caught up in the emotions of flirting with a guy, then all of a sudden they have this "oh shit" moment, and something in their brain tells them to put a hault to it. Part of this serves as a shit test to check to see if the guy will be non-reactionary or not. Maybe he'll turn into an asshole, or maybe he'll get needy. If he does, then he's not a good choice for her. It's sort of a "weeding out" measure. You just want to make sure you react appropriately. You don't want to break rapport back. You always want to be the one to break it first. If she does it first, then just act cool. Hop on your phone and start texting people, or check the weather, or pretend to push buttons. Or get up and go use the restroom. Make it seem like you aren't even noticing her doing this or you don't really care. Once she is done with her little test and sees that you passed, she'll be reassured and continue flirting with you again. Btw, you fucked up when you asked her after class if she felt pressured. Alphas don't care how others feel. |

Ok, Nice one! Thank you man.. I will definitely will bare that in mind next time. I think I acted appropriately cool enough to pass her little test...Shame I fucked up at the end.. I will lay down some Alpha tomorrow to make up for my pussyness at the end there! Out of interest...Do they know they are performing these tests? or is it sub-conscious? |
