Post subject:  Nice guys and visual perception disorder

Hey as someone that struggled with something called a visual perception disorder my life and saw a 180 degree turn on my life after getting help, I thought this may be relevant to bring up. my whole life I was always a people pleaser because of this disability and had many of the traits that "Nice Guys" have. My confidence skyrocketed after figuring out my disability getting SPAM and I saw the error in my ways. This brings me back that a visual perception disorder is very hard to diagnose and very debilitating at the same time. The disability is becoming more wide known and there are many people out there who have this who are not receiving SPAM and many of the symptoms of this disorder can easily cause some of the problems that many nice guys have.

A visual perception disorder makes it so you see differently then other people. You have trouble recognizing what matches, what clothes look good and your hygiene suffers too. Some Nice guys get criticized for not dressing well or having good hygiene.

A visual perception disorder greatly affects your athletic ability often times athletics help with confidence and often times most guys who are seen as nice guys are not athletic.

A visual perception disorder makes it hard to pick up on non-verbal cues a common problem many nice guys have.

People with this disorder have difficulty being socially aware. They miss interpersonal cues and are usually the last to know how someone is feeling. Also fail to pick up on what is and isn't "cool."

Obviously this can ravage one's self worth and cause them to seek validation. This is a disability that is only been known for not too long and it's worth looking into its similarities and the problems some nice guys face.

I honestly think this thread is more of a victim thread than something meant to actually help people.
Don't attribute your lack of success with whatever disability you have, I know guys who are deaf and are some of the biggest pimps you've ever seen.
Being a nice guy and seeking validation has nothing to do with external factors, it's all about confidence, and the only way to gain true confidence is to put your real personality on the line time and time again and go after what you want, face your demons and become a man, that's how you stop being a nice guy and start truly being attractive.
