Hi psychologically, what is the best thing to do right after you fail to approach? Do you tell yourself "it's ok, maybe next time" or "damn me, i am such an idiot" or what? usually, when I see a hot girl and I am being a pussy, I just stare at her until she is gone. right after, I am like "dammit, she was so hot. what a nice ass. dammit. I am such a loser. I missed my chance. I will never meet anyone as hot as her." but for some reason, this doesn't seem to encourage me in my next approach? |

Remain positive as there will be many more opportunities (similar to being rejected i guess)... ..but don't make silly excuses such as 'oh looks like she had a boyfriend anyway' - just accept that you pussied out of it and move on don't worry i'm an absolute pussy when it comes to opening too, just don't let it get in your head too much |

Don't get caught up analyzing what you 'tell yourself' because you're not picking up you. Go ahead and tell yourself, "OK, maybe next time." - and I bet you'll be hesitant next time. Instead, focus on a plan: All the natural wannabe's will tell you to be 'situational'... well, so will I but what does this really mean? I bet if you were to ask every natural wannabe on this forum, "how many different openers did you use for your last 50 opens?" And they'll be quick to reply, "50 different ones every time! I am a natural king!" - but tell them to write them all down and most will write literary variations of a few openers they repeat over, over, and over again. So it's really not too difficult. First, read up on 'openers' . . . and what it does. It's your entry to a conversation. It should guide you to the next step. Then take a pad and pen to a place where there are a ton of different girls and start writing down the ways you would open each one. There are no 'bad openers'. . . just write up a whole bunch. When you get home, revise a few. This will help you form a few 'unique to you go-to' openers that you can use at any time... but more importantly, the process will help you focus on girls and help you become more situational as you progress. By knowing exactly what you want to say, you'll have much less hesitation than speak up than not knowing what to say. (Much easier to raise your hand in class when you know the answer, right?) |
