I'm 17 in HS. Fairly good looking (on facebook where you like a status or inbox a # to a girl and she rates you I'd always get 7/10 easy) and my biggest demotivater to talk to girls my age is the possibility of being 'annoying'. All the time I'd see a guy talk to a girl I'd want to talk to and noticed how 'annoying' they would be, even if the girl tolerated it or not. I'm very soft spoken, i keep to myself, I like to read books (yada yada you get the picture) and I'm wondering how I guess I can be more confident and have the ability to approach anyone. |

I'd say the best way is to realize that life is short, and yes some people may think you're rude - but you being such an amazing guy who ACTUALLY CARES ENOUGH TO TRY AND BE HIS BEST SELF, man, I think you have all permission in the world to be a bit rude! Remember, life is short, don't waste it on being someone other people want you to be! |

At 17 you still give a fuck. It's not until you have kicked out your 20s that you start to realize that nobody in this world cares about you, that most people are selfish jackholes, and that if you want anything in life you need to just act and not worry about what anyone thinks. |
