Ok, so I normally go with with the "This is a VIP number, store with care - Matt" text after I get a girls number, and it usually works well -- especially when I get girls numbers at bars. After last night, I came to the realization that I need some other text openers... I got hooters waitress' number while I was watching the Cowboys game. My friend who is a hooters waitress told me that a girl she worked with thought I was cute. Before I left I approached her and said "I think you're really cute and had to come introduce myself..." Long story short, I got her number and then texted her probably an hour or two after I left. I texted her this: "This is a VIP number, store with care -Matt, the kind of creepy (but cute) guy from Hooters" I added the creepy part because I made a joke in our conversatin about creepy guys at hooters. Anyways, I haven't received a text back. I think its because she was turned off by the text message and thought I was arrogant (if this is the case then she probably doesnt have a good sense of humor anyways). Either way, is there a list of text opener suggestions that anyone has? Thanks |

Don't worry about it. She's just ONE girl. There are plenty of other girls who would be thrilled to meet a decent guy like you. Texts should only be used for doing one thing and one thing only. SETTING UP DATES. That's it.

dont ever refer to yourself as creepy. even as a joke. not a word you really ever want to use with women (as it relates to yourself). |

I usually open with a callback roleplay. In my interaction I usually bring up travel, and travelling to a place like Iceland and that she buys the tickets and I bring the booze, then I open my text with: "You bought our tickets to Iceland yet?" Try to open with something fun, something that she will remember your interaction so that she knows it's you. |

^^^ This is the best advice. It'll help her remember the good time she had with you and probably make her smile. Girls like putting two and two together. Regarding the girl, if I were you, I would not hit her up again. Then again, it's just me and I value my time+the chance I gave her. Aaaand I hope you're not a Cowboys fan
