Post subject:  a question about game

let us say you meet a girl you really like. she's hot and she challenges you on an intellectual level.

but she knows how to play the game too.

so the both of you are gaming each other, not initiating communication or willing to relinquish control.

so you next her and she nexts you because let's face it, if she really liked you, she'd come running - but she doesn't, cos she's thinking the same thing.

wouldn't that be a such a waste of a good thing? i'm tired of these games.

As a best practice you want her compliance before raising your demonstrated attraction and interest. Unilaterally raising your interest level in an effort to attract will generally result in failure. Exceptions apply for guys with more skilled game.

I had this with my ex- the only girl I've ever had real feelings for.

She always played games- it was easy for me to see through her texting and how she initiated things. Once we broke up and cut communication, we ended up in the same class the following year. We started talking again and gaming each other. It was definitely one of those "unspoken battles" that we both knew was going on but no one would say shit. Then we started having sex again, and to this day, we are still occasionally having sex. I could probably say that the reason we've always been completely comfortable and had real feelings is because we can both read through our games.

Nevertheless, there were times when I had to let her win. Just like there were times when she would let me win.

You can "win" this by not trying to win. Have you stated your intent? Either verbally or physically? If not then, well, you might just be playing games for ever with no results. If you state your intent, either she comes around or she doesn't. But at least you are congruent and honest. And if you have a carefree attitude you can try as many times as you want, persistent but not needy. This could definitely win her over.

^this^ the unspoken battle. try telling an objective outsider what is going on. they'll tell you you're deluded.

but she knows and i know. and it still goes on. which is why i think i have feelings for her. its fucking exciting.

Yeah man, that's how I caught my oneitis. Once a girl knows, can read through your bullshit, throws her own bullshit at you, and you're both still attracted as fucking heaven to each other, that's when everything gets interesting.

thing is, i know that wanting her and obsessing about her is absolutely not the way to go, but she's got me so hooked that i want her more just so i can sleep with her and say AHA...I WIN! but the more i try....the more i lose grip on the situation...it's fucked.

i tried freezing her out.....she froze me out more...the bitch lol....i love her!!!!

Haha I feel you, and what if she is thinking "he's got me so hooked that i want him more just so i can sleep with him and say AHA...I WIN!"

The thing is that the game will actually begin once you two sleep together. At least that's how it was in my experience. My girl and I started talking, then met up the same weekend, went to two parties together, then went back to her house. (we've met before that but never actually talked)

Either way, she thought we were going to have sex and I just did something like in that movie "Crazy Stupid Love"- just had a good time. Kissed, talked, cuddled and all that shit. We got pretty sexual, but didn't have sex. Ended up staying up all night, then sleeping in, going to brunch. She ended up hitting me up in two days and we went out and that's how our whole thing started.

Either way, I thought it was a good move to not have sex just to keep her on her toes. Bunch of guys always hit on her, and I figured she was expecting it, especially since I have that reputation.
