I'm pretty direct over texts and don't game over them, so I would have said something similar to "I want to see you tonight" or "It's my last night here, come spend it with me." If she says yes, good. If she says no, I would just not text back. Once again, I don't do text game anymore and I only text to set up meetings.

I feel like the rest of the conversation would have gone differently if you would have opened differently. Perhaps also don't text her back right away. Let her anticipate and check her phone a few times making sure she didn't miss that text from you.

I did the I like.... thing when I was texting in 7th grade. You're not building tension since it's obvious that you're applying that you like her. It's really generic and childlike in my opinion.
