Hi there :)
Time after time i end up being good friends with a girl i end up liking, and it leads to nothing.
After a girl i used these 4 past months on wont even answer my text. I have decided to use this frustration to motivate me to change, enough being the nice guy.

I dont really know anything about this type of pick up guidelines, except that it seems to work, and i want in.
I am a student, so i party a lot, which means i need something that works with alcohol and party clubs.
On my daily school life its mostly studying, so i dont really need like a day to day pick up scheme.
Thing is, in January i am going on a 5 day trip, where it will be extreme afterski everyday, and night also.
So i have about 30 days to learn the basic, and i guess i will be able to use that trip to practice and test myself.
There will be loads of girls, who i will never see again, super drunk, so i think that is a good place to start.

So i just need somewhere to start, basically it has to be related to partying.
What do you guys suggest i do these 30 days to prepare?
Is there something i should read, listen to?
Everything you have that can help me start out will be very appreciated! :)

I would recommend The Mystery Method. Ignore the routines, they're weird and disingenuous, but a lot of the cornerstones and theories are still relevant and many gurus recycle this endlessly.

I am guessing your problem is sexual escalation, there is no quick fix for that. Read up on kino escalation and try to implement it.

There are so many things to start with, just try and read up on some basics. Best of luck.

Also, browse the shit out of these forums. There are many really knowledgeable people on here who exemplify many different aspects of game.

"The Game" is the bible of pickup. So, yes.

Yea, you'll need to learn the basics of pickup. Start with the game, Mystery Method, and free youtube videos. Shit, even Simple Pickup might do you some good. You'll do better with the drunk girls if you don't get too drunk yourself. Be "Mr. Social" and come up with some funny jokes, stories, and interesting party tricks that you can use. Don't be afraid to talk to girls, that's the most important thing.

I would recommend you start off by getting comfortable approaching and just talking to lots of women. Don't worry too much about what to say; say what's on your mind. Have fun with it.

Start at the beginning :D

When I started out a few months ago I read ALOT of PU material, its all very useful and valuable now but at the time I just mind fucked myself with theory.

If I was to start again from scratch I would do it like this;

- Read "The Game", like Fly_Squatter said, that is the PUA's bible. It will inspire you and give you some of the basic ideas: female psychology, male psychology etc

- Sit down and have a serious think about where you are going wrong. Break it all down according to what you learnt from The Game. For example, if your afraid to speak to anyone/women (I include anyone in this because PU isn't just about speaking to women, its also about personal development) you need to work on approach anxiety (AA) first.

- Get to a "good enough" level of each aspect of PU before you move onto the next. Do not strive for perfection yet because you don't need to wipe out AA and be the best opener in the world, wait until you have got the whole picture down before you fine tune any aspect.

- Always remember that the field is king, books have there use but without application you are filling your head with essentially useless knowledge. 'I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand' - Confucius

- Be flexible! To start with its good to focus on one style and get good with that but as you progress don't be afraid to pick little bits from each, eg Mystery opinion openers combined with 60 YOC sexual escalation and RSD's closing strategy. Over all though its best to be natural and use/develop what works best with your "core".

- Have some dignity and self worth! Alot of guys devote there whole life to this and whilst it may get you good quick, you have other things you need to focus on also: school, sports or whatever. You as a person will not improve just because you can pick up chicks. You need to expand your life as a whole which requires you to become a better man but that is something you will come across later into the game.


This was a really good question and one I massively enjoyed answering. It helped me to formulate myself and realise how far I have come so thank you :D I wish I had known about the forums and asked the same when I started out!
