So what do you guys think of giving a girl your number instead of asking for hers? Im 37yo, have been out of the game for a long time. In my early 20s I was unstoppable, but now Im all kinds of rusty. Ive been doing Styles Rules of the game for about a week and Im progressing nicely. The thing is, at my age, its more my style I think to use the direct and honest approach. Ive been going out during the day and just walking around strip malls and stores looking for hot women. I feel most comfortable just walking up and saying "hey, this might sound really forward, but I think you're really cute. Can I give you my number?" Its been working pretty well for me, and I feel alot less nervous than trying to use all kinds of "game". I get the feeling that there is alot less pressure on the girl if I ask to give her my number rather than asking for hers, and they feel more at ease. What say you? Im still trying to work on being smoother and conversing fluidly, but like I said, Im hella rusty. Does anyone else favor this approach? Im guessing that once I get more comfortable, Ill be trying lots of different things. Anyway, Im Ben. Good to be here. |

Do whatever feels right to you. There's an upside and downside to your strategy. Upside: only girls who are interested will text/call you back... So you won't waste your time on girls who wouldn't even hook up with you. Downside: you don't seem to be DHVing... This will effectively highly limit the number of girls that will text/call you back. The reason why you may be less nervous using this straightforward approach is that it's a very simple line and you have your approach memorized perfectly. If you started using other routines, sure you might be nervous but with time that nervousity would go away and you'd have more success. |

All very good points my friend. One thing I can say is that Im a pretty good looking dude and I do it confidently, so chicks do text. I work on the DHV when they text. |
