Hey guys been doing ok while going out not really chasing numbers but more so trying to work on my approaches etc but on the weekend i met one girl which for some reason i cant get out of my head i got her number etc but she was maybe a HB6/7 where i had spoke to 8+s a few times that night even a 3 set of HB8's we are going for coffee if a few days but it got me wondering she didnt have the best looks or personality but out of the girls i spoke too hands down she is the one id pick which has me fucked few questions i have are #1 What causes Oneitis? #2 How often do you guys get it? #3 When did you have it the worst? some stories would be great cheers Jake |

Oneitis is in short, being hung up over one girl. So much so that it stops you from going out and meeting others, because you're still hung up over her. Hell in most cases, the girls isn't yours to begin with, so she's going on with her life, while you are her emotional punching bag. Her Time-Ho. You emotions jumps wildly to any action or reaction she has. I don't actually have a story to go with this, but this mostly occurs just after coming out a long term relationship and you're not over her yet. You're still emotionally attached to her. Oneitis is also common in a girl that Friendzoned or LJBF you. You still hang around, hoping that you'll get something for being a clingy friend. Go to PUA Lingo and type in: Oneitis. Am surprised that you've got oneitus for this HB6 who it seems you have a rappore with. Might be the big 'L', dude!!! Normally I think oneitus is caused by 'challenge'. If you can't have something, you want it more! Or if you have something and then you lose it, then you want to have it back! When you can have things easy, they have less value. When you work hard for something it feels more 'special'. I had it bad for a girl who just slept with someone else last Friday. Hurt bad. I fucked up, in that she was out on the same night as me a few weekends ago, but I refused to chase her - so I went to a different club as her, thinking she'd show up there. She didn't, and I was out in a different town on Friday, and she slept with some other guy. Problem with that is - I got her hot before she went out on the phone!! and it's really messed with my head. When you get it bad, and something happens to take it away, it feels hard to even breathe. But as with all things you get over it and move on if it doesn't work. Texting a completely different girl right now, even as I type this (just waiting the obligatory 15 mins to respond, lol, can't be losing the frame!). So it's not the end of the world. And another girl on facebook has invited me over to her place at some point. She's actually arguably hotter than the oneitus and a lovely girl but because there's no challenge it doesn't seem as fun for me, so it makes me kind of disinterested! That's the insanity of oneitus. Even now still secretly pondering ways to get back with the first one, even though I've kind of realised that it's completely doomed. |

yeah it has me buggered but cant clear this one from my mind only thing i can think of that makes her a stand out to the rest of them is she is alot more full on, loud etc which is way out of my character spectrum would be good to hear some stories from it where its driven guys crazy cause from what ive seen so far it can be very powerful to the unprepared |

It is called falling in love. And even if you have girlfriends on the side it doesn´t help to stop thinking about the person you´ve fallen for for longer than 15 minutes at most. |

I don't see (mutual) falling in love as oneitis. I see oneitis as when only you are in love, but the girl who you are in love with, doesn't share the same feeling to you |

love is a big ass call but maybe its true as much as i dont want it too be but i think andres definition is spot on cheers guys will keep yous updated |

Personally I think oneitis is when you are basically tricking yourself into thinking you are in love. People throw around the word love way too willynilly these days. True love is a couple who have stayed together threw thick and thin for FUCKING YEARS and still can't get enough of each other. Love meeting old couples who are still madly in love. Respect to that shit. |
