So there is a college girl I know in class and we have been talking for a while, 3 months to be exact. I've recently got interested in her and want to ask her out. She's one of those types thats a little shy on the outside but comes across pretty outgoing on texts. Just yesterday, I could feel she was really into me again so today I decide to ask her out and So I end up FUCKING it up:
HOW IT ALL WENT DOWN:
I decide to call her today around 7 pm and no one responds. I wait for about an hour and she texts saying:
HER: Hey! Sorry I was eating just now! Whats up?
I then decide to call her again and again no one answers. I send a text right away saying:
ME: I want to ask you something, pick up the phone!
I know that the fact she didn't pick up was because she was legitimately busy since her phone shows a read receipt everytime she reads a message. I didn't see the read receipt until an hour later when she calls again and I actually had my phone on silent and missed it. This was around 10:30 pm.
About 40 minutes later I call her again, this time again no one is there and I text her saying I was busy. I then wait a little longer then decide to just tell her that I am gonna go out and will talk to her later.
I know she wasn't avoiding my calls because she never read the message I sent, which she would do if she had her phone on.
PROBLEM:
The thing is, I made a bad mistake of calling her on a Friday night, which is likely shes gone out. Only thing I felt like I could do was make myself seem busy and possibly make her wonder what it was I was gonna ask her.
Question is, anyway I can recover from these unfortunate events and when should I call her to ask her out again? In a couple days?
Also, how can I avoid this phone tag crap in the future?
