This girl frienzoned me. Here is the text convo..

HER: Can we hang plz?

ME: I would but I can't. Sorry.

HER: Why?
HER: Im having a terrible night.
HER: And you told me you would.
HER: Alright whatever. Forget it.

ME: I was in the shower. I have a date tonight.

HER: I said forget it.

ME: Why are you mad?

HER: You're ditching me for some girl.

ME: Im not ditching you.

(no reply)


What should i do?

First off, don't try to justify yourself to a woman. EVER! Secondly, deep freeze it. If she comes back, take it. If she doesn't, move on.

Once a girl says "forget it / nevermind" then you just freeze out. But if you flake/ditch a girl, do it with class - you pretty much did this. "Sorry I can't hang, I've got a date tonight" you could have followed up with "maybe some other time" and left it at that. Like the above poster said, you shouldn't ever have to justify yourself to a girl.

She'll get the hint that girls who haven't friendzoned you get higher priority than ones who do.

Just remember that a woman will always try to drag you down into her mindset. You just detach yourself and look at like it is. In this case you don't need to explain yourself. As the others have said. Just ride out the storm and it will eventually clear up.

Well today me and the girl that friend zoned me hung out.. I had a great time.. but a few things were weird and i dont know what to think about it...

1) She asked me how my night was.
ME: "Amazing, XXXXX is a really awesome girl, other than the fact that she has this tone of voice that drives me wild. hahaha"
HER: "You fall for girls too easily"
ME: "No.. not really, Im actually really picky."
HER: The guy I like texted me and told me to move home.
ME: Thats cool, you should do it.
HER: You dont understand.. We could have this hot passionate thing.. (blah blah blah about how she likes him.)
ME: Well you should go for it.


2)She asked me if me and my date had sex. (like 3 times throughout the night)
HER: So did you guys have sex?
ME: No, we fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up she drove home. (and thats the truth)

3) She told me to "not get a girlfriend and stop hanging out with her because girls get jealous.
I told her that I won't stop hanging out with her.. (Probably should have said "Im dating a few people to see who i want, but Im pretty sure we will be able to hang out still)

and finally
Right before I dropped her off she said..
"By the way.. If i ever find out you have lied to me... Im never talking to you again" Then walked out of the car. Didn't say bye.
She said it in a playful serious kind of way. (if that makes sense)
(the only thing i can think of why she said this was because I told her me and XXXXX did not have sex..)

What do you guys think??

She wants a friend? Tell her you aren't in the market for friends with females, you're in the relationship/dating market. It sounds "mean" but what it is, is honesty.

Yeah, afce123, you are explaining yourself too much, not leading the interaction to where YOU want it, and are overall playing into her games. Back off for now and come back with a solid masculine frame.
