Post subject:  Your opinion on HB-guy/girl limits.
So, as you all know far better than me, targets in the game are often measured on a Hot Babe (HB) level that ranges from 1 (the genetically impossible offspring of a human and pig) to 10 (model material, see her on a train platform and you'd probably walk right onto the tracks without noticing and be hit by an oncoming). Anyway, this rating is usually measured in physical looks at first, but personality becomes a factor once you know the target better. Of course, it's a safe bet to say that most women will also rate the men around them in a similar fashion.

So I ask you, PUA's and AFC's alike, what would be your idea on what are the limit's on a suitable match between ratings? Say i'm a 5 or 6, as a guy(personal opinion, completely unfounded), what would be a good HB level to go for? What do you think is the acceptable/ realistic range to hit? I'd say a 2 guy could pick up a HB10 if he had an amazing game, but it's highly unlikely and would require a LOT more work.

I'm aware that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and not universal, this is just a basic framework to set up plausible goals, as my usual fancies are 7-8's.

Hey Mark, I don't think you should rate yourself as it will only hinder your game focus more on improving yourself in everyway possible. By that I don't just mean looks as they count far less for a man but I would suggest looking as good as possible for confidence reasons (nice haircut,fitted clothing,good hygiene is a plus)
Look into body language, voice tonality, being cocky&funny, using playful negs and in general the qualities that make a good alpha male.

To answer your question the only limit is the one you set yourself :)

I agree the only limit is the one you set yourself...

Think about this.. how many times have you seen a high HB with a low HB guy and gone "What is she doing with him?" We see this everyday... looks are only a part of it and mean way less to girls as they do to guys. So don't set yourself any limits as you never know what you might be missing out on, good luck

I think everyone in the community would do well to read a book on how to run stats and probabilities. Yes, theoretically a 2 can land an 8. But you're certainly running piss poor odds. The better looking you are, the easier things are. Much of the PUA community likes to say your looks don't matter. This is absolute bullshit. It is no coincidence that the best looking PUAs are the only ones that reliably get hot girls. Yes, as a 4, you may land an 8 or two. But you're mostly going to be stuck with a ceiling of 7 and more often than not, you'll be banging 4-5s. Now, there is one caveat. Some think of it only from one side. Which is what you are. Basically, if a girl looks at a 5 guy, she may think he's a 7. And if she thinks she's a 7, then you're acceptable. Where this enters a fuzzy area is that you're dealing with two subjective values. So as an objective 5, you may appear to be a 7 to one girl. Now what if this girl is a also a 5, but thinks she's an 8? You'll only get her if she's particularly lonely. What if she's a 9 and thinks she's a 6? Good news, you're in!
However, probabilities will tell you that in most cases, things are where they objectively belong. So a 5 man will have to meet far more 7s to get one, than a man who is a 7 himself.

A lot of people like to play absolutes. No, there are no absolutes. But there are certainly more and less likely odds. For one thing, it's a matter of your priorities. Is it worth hunting down and hitting on 20x as many 8s as 6s in order to get one? If so, then do that. But bear in mind that means a lot of extra nights alone with the fleshlight.

Lastly, there is also a larger split between same night fucks and relationships. Generally, girls will be more likely to date a guy who's several points below her physically. So long as he makes up for it on other levels. So if you're physically a 5, your odds of an 8 girlfriend may not be too bad, if you've got your shit together. But picking her up in a club and taking her home is really fighting an uphill battle, outnumbered in a rainstorm.

the limit is a yes or a no, if you are attracted and it is a yes, go meet her, if you get used to cold approaching there is no risk anymore, only opportunity, it's just meeting a new person and having a chat

looks are also subjective
