Post subject:  How to get rid of the Addthis Toolbar that is on the Forum

I have a fairly small screen so the addthis toolbar that just got added to the forum takes up alot of space. Here is how you can remove it, if your adblocker does not already. These are not my instructions copied and pasted from howtogeek.co, process is similar for all browsers.

How to disable the addthis bookmark box for social sites on your browser

Web pages that have the bookmark box for social networks are aggravating, when you mouseover the bookmark box, it opens blocking your view
of the webpage under it and will not close until you mouse over it again.

If you would like to disable this unwanted feature the list of steps below will allow you to mouseover without activating the box.

Step by Step click on the following in Internet Explorer:

(1) Tools
(2) Internet Options
(3) Security
(4) Restricted sites
(5) Sites

Add the following string to the restricted sites field

*.addthis.com/

When done close your browser, reopen it, mouseover should not open the window any longer.

To remove the annoying box on the left when using Chrome:

1. Install the Adblock Plus extension from the Chrome Web Store
2. Right-click on the ABP icon (right hand side of the address bar) and go to "Options"
3. Go to "Add your own filters", type "*.addthis.com/*" (without the speechmarks) into the box and click "Add filter"
4. Bippity boppity boo, you're all done. Just refresh hit refresh on the page with the addthis bar and it should be gone.

This should work for any browser with Adblock plus, although the options layout may differ slightly.
