Sup guys, although this isnt a huge problem, i noticed that when i'm with a bunch of friends, one or the other tries to take charge, and although they dont know exactly what being an alpha male is, its kind of natural of them sometimes. Now i have more knowledge of this stuff, so i dont let it effect my reality, but it pisses me off when one tries to lead, and i always subtly brush them off, but sometimes i feel like i have to almost be rude for this to happen, which i dont really like being around my own friends..... I take charge most the time, but i dont make it seem like im an ass, so it makes me less dominant sometimes, and i do notice it. Whats the best way to take charge of the group and without having to be negative or rude? One of my friends i noticed is very selfish in a way, although hes a cool kid, he only cares about how he feels, i can see it in his eyes, and im not sure i can even trust him sometimes, although he makes it seem like he is trustworthy... I dont even trust him enough to bring my girl around because i dont know how he'd react and make me look like i have friends that dont care about me, he might even try to hit on her while im not around , which would make me look like my friends arent even trustworthy, thus bringing my own value down at the same time... i think he might even try to get with her if shit goes sour between us, which really makes me question him.... Anyways whats the best way to keep it one step more alpha then the rest.... even in my own group? |

also another thing that bugs me is, i dont like bringing my girl around my friends , because ive got a very dominant frame with her, and i dont want to fuck it up or make myself look like i got dumb friends... |

why are you competing with your friends for alphaness. How did you get the mindset that you have to be alpha all the time? How did you get these negative thoughts about your friends? You have a lot of animosity going on in your post. Instead, try to enjoy yourself and be there for your friends. Who cares if the dude is selfish. Still be that awesome guy everyone loves to be around. You are working too much into this to the point you feel threatened by your friends. Chill out. |
