So basically been shagging this girl who we found out lives next to my mates coursemates, my mate decided to tell her coursemates that we've been shagging. I had a go at him for this which she didn't know. She's also got a reputation for being a bit of a slag/slut but I defend her when it comes up in conversation. I.e. "She's a fun person and we have fun. Stop digging at her." However about half an hour ago I got: Her Could you not go around telling random people that you've been sleeping with me for ages as 8 times isn't all that much and I've just had an argument with the people I live with as they said these people know more about me then they do. thanks for that. This is what I've prepared but I am in a bad mood today: 1) I didn't, (insert name here) did. I had a go at him for doing so. I defend you and you give me this! Cya around. 2) I didn't, (insert name here) did but cheers for giving me the benefit of doubt. Then a major freeze out till she learns to be respectful. |

Bad mood = game killer. Definitely messes up mine. Neither of those responses is good, though the first one is better. You'd better just apologize, and explain that you told your mate but didn't expect him to run his mouth, and had a go at him for that. Don't even bring up the "defend ya" comment. I've had a bad knack for loose lips, a good apology should recover you. Make it a good one, especially if she specifically asked to keep it a secret. She doesn't sound that pissed but you definitely fucked up, mate. |

It wasn't my fault tho as i didnt tell. Basically i live with 3 other girls, one of them knows the girls that live next to this girl.I've had a bad knack for loose lips, a good apology should recover you. The girl i have sex with is fucking loud so my housemate knows everything. basically shes been blabbing to my girls neighbours who have a weird hatred for my girls housemates who she told so now my girls housemates hate her. last one was: Its hard enough to live here normally but now they're pissed off its even worse. |

Ask her how she feels first. It acknowledges her feelings and shows that you care. You have to be adults about it. You should calmly do it in person or call her. First remind her of the fun you two have together and then tell her the truth(that you didn't tell) and then finish it off with a "I am not going to try to convince you to believe me" and then it is all up to her after that. Kinda sucks about your situation. |
