| Post subject: | Friend's Sister |
What's up everyone, so here is my current dilemma. It all started a few years ago in high school...my best friend had a sister that really liked me. She would always show me signs and she was cute but I was always hesitant because it was my best friend's sister! I use to give her rides to school because we were neighbors and I didn't mind the company. Then once we exchanged numbers she would always hit me up but like I said I didn't play into it because I felt like it would be awkward with my friend and his 2 other brothers whom I knew pretty well. So fast forward to now...I don't really keep in touch with my friend like I use to because life just happens like that sometimes. However I saw them at a wedding recently and saw the girl with her 30 year old BF (she's 21 FYI) anyways we talked and had a great time, we all did. Even her mom came up to me and said I should date her because her BF is to old for her. So I texted her a few days later just saying it was great seeing all of them again and we all need to hangout sometime soon and left it at that. So long story short...I am interested in the girl still and I don't really talk with my friend like I use to so would it be inappropriate??? I know she has a BF but I would be surprised if that lasted forever but you never know. I'm just sitting back and doing my own thing but it would be nice to know for future reference. Thanks!! |

Go for it. But your text to her didn't accomplish anything, now did it? Be more direct and set up a time/place to meet with her. Take action instead of just implying it. There's no reason to be afraid just because she's your friend's sister. She has to be with someone, so why not someone who she's at least a little more familiar with? |

True...I understand what you mean. I think if she was single I would have been more direct but since I knew she had a BF I figured it be nice for her to have my number and know I'm still here. I don't necessarily mind playing the waiting game at the moment because I'm super busy with college as it is.

Dude! Do this chick ASAP - remember that true friends share everything, including sisters. |
