Hi What are your opinions on using alocohol while gaming? Of course, AA problems seem to disappear once you are drunk, but is there more? I have noticed that when drunk, I have hard time keeping myself in control. For example my negs can be too offensive, or I may push a bit harder than I should. What are your opinions and experiences? Cheers, Shyguy |

You can allow yourself to drink a bit if you want to have fun. I personnally never go above 2 drinks/night. But you've always got to keep control of yourself and of the situation. And alcohol is a bad tool to cover insecurity and AA. You've got to work on yourself to be more confident in any situation, without any external apport. |

Yeah exactly, it's like using drugs when your life's a mess, it might help at that moment, but it doesn't solve shit. Ofcourse, drinking a bit and getting tipsy, why not? If it improves your game, then go for it. I sometimes have days to that i'm really tired and my frame's just off, but after a few beers, things start loosening up again. All-in-all, dont drink to game, but drink to improve your frame. |

I've heard and read the drinking alcohol to game decreases your calibration, so essentially it will be harder to make sense of what is really happening and how to garner your thoughts. I once got pretty drunk and went to go talk to some girls (for the fun of it) and I nearly got my ass kicked Reason being I was looking like a drunk infront of everyone, I smelt awful, I was burping constantly...it's not a pretty pleasant experience if I must be honest haha. If you do have the intention of drinking, stick to low spirited drink like Smirnoff Spin. If you have the intention of getting drunk, do that on a dedicated night where you have no intention of seeking attention from girls. And also go with some friends to drink with you to show people your not just a lonely guy looking to get hammered |

I am more likely to talk to women when I'm drunk, and on top of that, I'm also more on top of my game when I'm drunk. If I'm a few drinks deep, I pull off a perfectly natural and flowing cocky-funny. I guess it's odd... my friends and I will be hanging before a party, and if they want to meet women that night, they stay sober so they could make decent conversation. I'm exactly the opposite though. I'm much better at conversation when I've had something to drink. To each his own. Drugs affect each and every one of us differently. Figure out how alcohol affects you, then come up with your own personalized rule. |

Doru I think that's considered a Placebo effect |
