| Post subject: | Reviews of Other PUA Forums and PUA Literature... |
Hello My PUA Brothers in Crime, Just wanted to post my opinions and recommendations on other PUA Forums I've seen and the PUA Literature I've read. I thought it might be helpful. If you all know of any other sources of good info, please share with the group. And yes, equally as important as learning the arts is applying the skills in the field via sarging. Books: - Venusian Arts Manual by Mystery - 10 out of 10; A must read for any PUA. I plan to read it again to review the theories. - The Game by Style - 8 out of 10; Some good material, but written like a story, so many pages go by of storytelling between the valuable PUA material. - The Art of the Approach by Thundercat - 10 out of 10 - To me, it was a must read. He goes into more detail many of the similar theories of the Mystery Method. Great section on openers. - Double Your Dating by David DeAngelo - 5 out of 10 - I didn't find it all that helpful. Didn't have strong underlying lessons like the other books above. Doubt some of the material works. - Swinggcat's Book - 0 out of 10 - Honestly, don't know because I paid for the book, but was never able to download it. Emailed the company, but never got a response. Forums: Pick Up Artist Forum (us) - 10 out of 10. Organization great. Lots of talented members contributing. Easy to follow. Low on bullshit posts. www.fastseduction.com (aka mASF) - 5 out of 10. Too much info. Too many BS posts. Easy for any newbie or PUA to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of posts. Didn't find any threads worth following. www.cejuice.com - 7 out of 10. Good info in a pretty organized fashion, but I think it's a read only thing. I didn't find anywhere anyone could put a post to share info. So I don't think it's really a forum. www.pickupguide.com - 5 out of 10. Too much info. Too many BS posts. Easy for any newbie or PUA to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of posts. Didn't find any threads worth following. Just my opinion, guys... As a new Venusian Artist, sometimes I find it's more important to learn a few underlying principles and apply them well than to get overwhelmed by too much info... much of which may be easily bullshit. Hope this post helps. Respectfully, M |

the thing I appreciate about this forum is when I minimize my browser window on my netscape browser. People overlooking my shoulders can't read or get a clue of what I am on, because it is left blank at the bottom with no name. Very discrete, i'm loving this forum. |

Hey jacked, don't worry about the browser stuff. Do you really give a fuck what other people are thinking. I've surfed blatantly in cybercafes on this forum |

Can't be assed to do a long post just thought I would quickly drop something that has enraged me. Stylelife (the robot factory), this is the most superficial forum ever. These guys don't care about lifestyle or philosophy of why it works they just want it to. ANything Style or Mystery says is gospel (even if they have later said it is outdated). Routine-related-assholery. Also, I realized how much I appreciate Gambler making this forum unbiased. A guy asks for a podcast about pickup boom I recommend pickup podcast then promptly get an email saying I have a warning for linking to other Pickup sites. Then we have the crap marketing "you have been selected for a secret club", "don't show anyone this but...." FUCKING SHIT CUNTS argh it annoys me so much that Style has been doing this same crap for ages now. Actually I doubt its even style anymore it is probably on of his forum lackies doing the work. In short I hate the forum and everything it stands for it is the fast track to having awful game, is unhealthy and all in all is a desperate attempt by style to convert everyone who read his books into a customer for more crap they don't need (whilst hiding every other option and the prospect of fair debate). Stylelife ..... die lol |

Completely agree Jay. They show the bad side of PU were its all about how much money they can extract from you before you realise that there is much better stuff elsewhere i.e. here.

Wow, David D at a 5 out of 10? That's unbelievable...David D's stuff, I believe, is probably the most potent material out there. He deals in a lot of inner game and I have found the stuff more logical and less superficial than the MM or Style theories. Just my two cents, David D is on of the OGs and his stuff does work. I am not terribly far along in my personal progress, but I generally have the opinion that David D and inner game make for more substantial gains than the routine based pick up, though I would just like to say that I do understand the necessity for routines, that style of pick up just isn't for me. |

The five best books on seduction that I've read, not in order. The Game by Neil Strauss Really amazing book that introduced me to others concepts, theories and gurus of seduction The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene Must read! Very complex book on the art of "lead astray", immoral at some point, but works. Sexual Key by J. D. Fuentes An impressing book on the powerful language of women's emotions, and how to sucessfully use that language in your favour. Real World Seduction by Swinggcat Simple book with very useful applications of NLP concepts as "frame" or "rapport". Everything Out of Her Mouth is a Test by Frank Kermit For those whos asks for ways to manage the paradoxal female behaviour and the devilish tests that drives us crazy! I would recommend some books in portuguese (my mother language), if someone speaks portuguese, please ask me! Fu$$$$$$$$ |

Everyone who posted after The Doctor needs to read the forum rules again. You can find a link at the top of every forum section. Fussbird, if you're going to revive a dead thread with a post like that, at least do it to a thread from THIS YEAR, such as this relevant one: if-you-could-recommend-3-books-vt42877.html |
