As I've stated in previous posts, I've had one itus over a co-wroker/friend/girl with a bf/girl who likes me. I don't have to go into detailed experiences, its all documented here.... Anyway, after coming close but failing in my mission, I sat back to analyze, as I suggest you should. I came to the following conclusions. Im really not into this girl She isn't anything special physically She's nothing more than a trophy I want (we used to HATE each other, which ups her value) I think one-itus is more of a symptom of co-dependency. All the things you do/want with an LTR, you seem to project on your target, tho you know she would not be a suitable recipient or partner for these things. I go out a lot, but I haven't met many propects who were worth going thru the "dating rituals". I see and talk to her almost everyday, so that kept her fresh in my mind, and intensified my obsession. Also, a great indicator of One-Itus is feeling awkward and having a hard time conversing with your target. All the girls Ive hooked up with, I was usually able to connect with easy, and maintained my confidence and personality. this doesn't work with a one-itus simply because the chemistry isn't there. So my point is if you have this, you must likely are dealing with somthing else below the surface....co-dependency. If thats the case, I recommend you STOP chasing, talking to go, gaming girls for about 2 weeks. Spend the time alone and learn to like yourself, learn to be strong and independepent. Realize you do not need her validation or anybody elses'. and then she will probably run to you. im gonne field test this and let you know. |

This is great stuff. One-itis usually occurs when suddenly one of your targets becomes easier to get. If you perceive her as easier to get, you will put more resources into her (time thinking about strategies revolving around her), and hence, you will quickly catch the disease of one-itis. You will then, as you said, start projecting good qualities onto her; these might be the things you are not getting from another woman in your life. But, do not stop gaming other girls. What you need to do is focus on a 2nd girl until this 2nd girl is also as easily attainable as the 1st one. You will quickly realize that one of the saddest facts of life is that women are extremely interchangeable with one another. |
