I accidently sent an sms to this chick Iv been gaming...she has a high powered job and claims to be busy and is slow in answering my texts. Anyway my buddy text me asking if I'm still hooking up with this chick and if he should add her and two friends to facebook. I meant to text him back with " I'm still trying to hook up with her, she's a bit stand-offish so don't go adding them just yet, I'm just playing it cool!"

But I sent it to that chick accidentally :oops:

She replied with: Cheeky bugger lol What was that all about?

I sent back: aww shite that was meant for my friend who asked about adding you and your pals to fb...embarrassing lol

She said: I gathered that. I explained about why stand offish. Work and stuff to do. Will call you in a bit?

I just replied with I understand. P.s need to watch what I'm doing with this stupid phone!


Needless to say she never called me!

I already sort of had sex with this chick on the night we met...so there was a lot of attraction.

Do you think Iv fucked it here...never had to deal with this sort of thing happening to me before...

lol, I never have been in a situation like this...but I would have went with it. Made it cocky funny somehow and would have avoided apologizing. Pretty sure you are still okay, just watch your send button next time, I wouldn't kill myself over this slip.

update:

She text me back, never called, saying: ah well as long as you understand x

Thinking I was being cocky and funny I replied with: Dont wait to long tho or ill get to thinking your not interested ;-)

And she came right back with: Im senior rep for bla bla work is keeping me really busy. Its only been 4 days since we last seen each other. Come on now lol x

Trying to do a little damage control I said: haha ok then smarty pants.

She simply replied: X

I then just said: Gimmie a shout at the weekend if your up for it

So basically I tried to be cocky/funny and simple came off as needy great!

The best thing I can do now is leave her be for a while I think? If she contacts me at the weekend great if not then try and reopen in a week or so.

lol, you are fine. She explained herself, jokingly of course. You could have been more dramatic to show you were joking "Oh, my aching heart *dies*, " and then added the "alright, alright, let me know when you aren't ball and chained :P and want to enjoy yourself with some fun company."



Tip: Don't text if you are not feeling sure of yourself. Put the phone away and come back to it with a clear head. Text when you are feeling playful and confident.

I think Ill just wait an see if this chick gets back to me over the weekend, if she doesn't Ill assume shes probably not interested
