In my case attention whores will seek out your attention until they get it and then either move on to the next guy or try and get more attention from you, but not return it. Either way you loose. But not giving her attention and not giving in I find works far better as she will want to fight harder to get your attention as she more than likely see getting your attention as a challeneg.
