Post subject:  Jönköping(Sweden) for gaming, opinion?

I am planing to switch college and the university in Jönköping is among my choices. Can anybody tell me their experiences with that town, related to gaming?

Not that brilliant. If you go for nightgame that is atleast. Small selection of good places, and not that many people in the city (besides students) that party. Considered the biblebelt of sweden, might have something to do with that.

That is pretty fucked up. Thanks for the advice, are u from Sweden tho? if so Do you know any good universities in a Swedish cities where the nightlife is good and have business department in english?

Well, first of all, I probably wouldn't select university based on what place is good for game. Pick one that has the education you want. I mean, even if its bad in Jönköping, it isnt completely impossible to pick up girls there. Also, in Jönköping, you have great opportunity to go abroad on study exchange. I went twice, so your actually only there for 2 of your 3 years (assuming your entering bachelor level).

With that said, if I could choose somewhere else to go, I'd go to Lund, Gothenburg or Stockholm (although Stockholm school of economics is really fucking hard to get enrolled to). All of those cities have better nightlife and better universities. And think they are all in English.

And yes, I am from Sweden.

Yeah i do agree with you about choosing the city based on the quality of education and not the opportunities of pick-up...But if I can pick the best of the two , I am gonna ...

Yep I am planing to continue my bachelors, gotta change university cause those fuckers canceled my major..

Information System Management(or IT Management some call it that way, its business mixed with informatics) ....its a problem cause Its possible to study mostly on masters not for bachelor...
