OK so. This is a tough one. I was hitting it off big time with a HB8, and then noticed her friend being a bit surly, so I thought I'd say something to her - ended up comparing her to a 50 year old woman who was out the other week and hugely offending her. She dragged the HB8 away and I winced and kind of moved on. Saw the girl later on after she text me about going to a certain club (I had number closed with her a weekend ago) but didn't bother going up to her as I was with another girl at this point - but at 3am she randomly text me and we texted back and forth for an hour, she was like "oh, if you'd seen me in that club you could have come home with me!". I text back saying "hey, I could still come over." but she played coy from then on. I kind of wish I had just asked where she stayed and said "I am on my way" or something but I had been forced to drink a lot - it was a friends birthday and shots were on the cards, so I wasn't quite thinking straight. Also, she's not said a word since, and I don't want to chase any more - I mean, it was pretty random that she texted me in the first place saying she was out, in all honesty. So I am pretty sure she'll do something similar again the next time she is out. I haven't even added her on facebook, think that's something for another time if ever. Anyway, the basic problem here is, I screwed up with her friend, not sure the best way to carry on if an alpha girl drags her friend away from you. If you even can. Not messing up in the first place is the best idea, of course. Any ideas? |
