Hey guys, the other day I saw this one beautiful girl, I've known her for a while so our 'relationship' gave me the okay to go in and just say a quick whatsup. I went in to do so, but as I approached her I felt a surge of anxiety and all that air in my lungs disappeared and my masculine "hey" was more like a haven't-reached-puberty-yet-kinda hey. -How the hell do I eliminate approach anxiety? -and sometimes I just feel unsure of myself. How do I build myself up to become sure of myself? -and I feel weak a lot when people challenge what I know. There are times where I feel invincible and I'm full of wit and self confidence, but many times i'm not. |

Thessius, being self confident is something that will take time to accomplish. Something you can start doing know is to just say hi to everyone you see when your out, even guys. Then make it a goal to start small conversations with random people in your daily life. You need to be able to first talk up strangers before you can feel comfortable talking to the hot chick. Positive affirmations work. Spend a few minutes in the mirror repeating to yourself that you are a confident person. It's going to feel silly at first but after a while you will notice that you will automatically begin to say it with conviction. Be patient, it might take 10, 20, 30 or even more minutes. But it works. See every day you feed negative thoughts to your brain, and they become beliefs. So why not feed your brain positive thoughts instead? If you really want to speed up the process, it will take some balls. Start talking to as many attractive women that you can. Eventually you become decensitized and no longer feel anxiety. Just make sure you prepare before hand and have some stuff in mind I case you run out of things to say. |
