I have some pretty moderate acne. About 30ish red marks (scars) on each cheek and some whiteheads on my chin and a huge red bump under my right eye from boxing (bruised) Do girls really care if I have acne? I'm good looking and athletic with nice hair.. only thing that pushes my away from the game is my acne. I can't get the balls to approach anymore. |

I have acne too but you gotta ask yourself, did cavemen care if they had acne or not? they didn't have mirrors but even if they did they wouldn't recognize themselves. Their sole purpose is to breed and replicate. |

everything matters and nothing matters. Depends on the girl. Same with guys does it matter if shes big or if she has a lazy eye or bad breath or has a freckle on her ass or a penis. Well that last one might be a deal breaker. |

Acne definitely matters. If you think something might matter, it does. Go to a dermatologist stat and get rid of it. The boxing mark doesn't count as acne and can be kind of sexy when explained, but bad skin is such a turn off. Try washing your face morning and night with Cetaphil All Skin Cleanser and a prescribed acne SPAM like Epiduo. I love questions like this. If anything, tne thing I'm good for is beauty tips. |

I've been asking a lot of girls that and they say they usually don't care unless its like big crysts or something. I only have acne scars which you can't really see from a distance but you can see quite a bit of red marks on my face. I still get IOI's from girls a lot so I'm really not sure. I've never got a insult by a girl about my acne but one who I really offended on accident yet she liked me earlier..? Idk ha.

I was with a guy for a while who had skin like yours, and it didn't really matter because the sex was awesome. But I did catch myself thinking to myself that he'd be way better looking without it. You might as well just get it taken care of so you don't have to worry what girls think.

Yes it matters. How MUCH it matters depends on the girl. And on that note, considering how simple it is to fix (or at least limit) ask yourself why would you NOT fix it? |

Im on Retin A so i'd imagine its going to be better in the next few weeksAnd on that note, considering how simple it is to fix (or at least limit) ask yourself why would you NOT fix it? I would use accutane but my dermatologist said its not bad enough for accutane as its just scaring. |

I must say I disagree with pretty much everyone here. If your game is good, looks barely matter and the other way around. If you approach a woman, she won't reject you because you have a little acne scars. If you were absolutley repulsive, and your acne scares people away, yes, it would be a problem. But moderate acne, or even bad looks doesn't matter too much. The only thing that stands in your way when it comes to the acne, is if it affects your game. If you are self concious about it, and it affects you, it might fuck up your self-esteem and game when talking to women, but given that you have a more or less solid inner game, this shouldn't matter. If you have a solid game, the acne doesn't matter. |

Are you sure it's 30 and not 25? Sorry Anyway best solution for this is medicted cream from the Drs. You want cream with retin a in it - a good one is isotrexin gel. If that doesn't work one thing that is GAURANTEED to work is roaccutane but you need to visit a hospital for this. It's amazing stuff and will work, period. |

Having acne is the same as being short, being fat, having bad teeth, being bald, and being broke. Are there short, fat, bad teeth, bald, acne-faced guys who get women? Yes, certainly. Do their physical shortcomings impede them? I'm sure they do to an extent. Do they have to accept themselves as they are in order to live life? Yes, for sure. True story, this girl I used to hook up with has this boyfriend now. He must've had awful acne when he was a teen. His face literally looks like the surface of the moon. He is apparently devastaed by his acne scars and extremely self-consious. But his girl is actually very pretty, and has huge tits. Sure, she's kinda chubby and has low self esteem herself, but the dude isn't doing to bad with her. It's not perfect, and they both had to settle somewhat, but they are still relatively happy. At least he didn't give up on women altogether just because he had bad acne. He gets laid more than me! |

I think acne tends to matter to us more than it does to other people. I used to have it really bad, but when I was around 15 I didn't really care. I was a pretty decent looking lad, terrible game, but still had some success with pretty hot girls just because of my looks really, even with acne. I'm now in my early twenties and still get the odd spot here and there, and I'm much more bothered by it now than when I had it ten times worse when I was younger. I think the thing is, you notice it on yourself a lot more. If you take particular attention of other people they've probably got acne as well, but it doesn't seem to looks as bad on them as it does on you, right? Well, they're probably thinking the same thing. I think the biggest reason that acne is an issue is because of its effect on you. If you don't let it bother you, it won't affect your game too much. If you get self conscious about it, then obviously it will. I agree with above that you can certainly get it sorted out to a certain point, but don't just rush in for the harshest stuff the doctors recommend - sometimes it does more damage to your skin and body long term than it's worth just for the sake of a few spots! |

I can vouch for accutane but that stuff is hard as hell on your body. My joints killed, eyes so dry they were hurting, lips dry but in the end it was worth it. its now banned in Canada.

Honestly I didn't read all the posts, but my opinion is : If it matters for you, it matters. There is a big part (if not the biggest part) of pick up that is in your head. Confidence is almost everything when it comes to pick up girls. So, you have two choices : accept yourself as you are because who is perfect in this world? or you find a way to get rid of it. The second option is a good option, but you'll always find something esle that is not perfect and that could slow you down... |
