True. But there is an important distinction that needs to be mentioned. Opening a girl is chasing her. Texting her is chasing her. Calling her, chasing her. Anytime she doesn't respond back to you, and would disappear into oblivion unless you take the initiative to contact her again...that's chasing her.

There is one major difference in the way a pua chases and the way an AFC chases women. Both have to run down the women and get their attention. But the pua then takes the lead and tells her to keep up. And the AFC just continues to lag behind her, asking if he can tag along.

PUAs won't want you believing in this, but there is much to be said about creating the illusion for the woman that at times she's in control - this is part of seduction the give-and-take, if you're always insisting on taking the lead and being overt about it many women will tire of your exploits and move on.

Basically this girl came onto me fast. I met her at school adn she quickly asked for my number. She texted me nonstop and then I asked her to chill, knowing she would say yes. We chilled and made out and stuff. The next two weekends I asked her to chill but she claimed to be busy. We didn't text unless it was about school work. I assumed that she must have lost interest. About a week pasts of only talking to her in class. I tell her I am talking to this new girl, just to see if it makes her mad. She was supportive of it and said she would help me get her. Then shes like maybe this time you will actually try. Me: What's that mean? Her: You didn't try with me! Me: Yeah I did I thought you didn't wanna chill anymore Her: What made you think that? Me: Idk you were always busy and stopped texting (she always use to text first) Her: Well I don't text guys first Me: Well I didn't want it to end, I liked where it was going Her: Well text me and let's see how it goes. Do I have new life?

Keep centered, but allow them to pull you out of that center a little bit every now and then, it makes them feel validated and gives them a sense of power (you're creating this illusion for them, its not really the case). She was down to fuck, you were coy, next time take the initiative in contacting her and immediately set up a 'date' and then go caveman on her.

At the end of the day women want to be led, but not domineered. They want the hot guy, but they don't want him to act like he's hot. They want the cocky asshole, but they don't want him to be an ass to them. That's just how women are, they want impossible things. That's why guys struggle so hard to keep women, even if they are experts at attracting them in flocks. You want to be alpha "most" of the time, but it's okay to show vulnerability every once in a while to show them you are human and have emotions. It's a balancing act admittidly.
