My suggestion:

Read something that is different from what you already know so that you get a more holistic idea of what it is all about. Or if you have chosen to walk the path of Mystery, try getting your hands on his magnum DVDs.

No amount of books will substitute for just going out and getting some real experience in the real world.

But if you really wanna read try 60 years of challenge for method(s), or Get Laid or Die Trying for a kind of autobiography that's also pretty funny.

Thanks guys, and I am constantly running routines and patterns at the gym at work at the mall and of course in the club, I cant afford any bootcamps so all I can do is read and practice but so far the thing that has worked the best is confidence, women can smell confidence on a man from a mile away! Also not fearing rejection is key for having confidence

I agree with this part. Just read something that will motivate you to go out and try stuff. Reading only helps give you the push to go try things, it won't give you the skill though.

A lot of people have told me that books that have nothing to do with pick up are good for actually picking up. There are a lot of books about behaviors etc that help people become fascinated by social behaviors and thus give an extra boost to going out there and trying new things.
