Post subject:  visualizing future dates

I'm a bit curious on if this one thing I do is messing up my game at all. I'll get a date/meet up with a girl and I always seem to start visualizing what it will be like, or what my moves will be, or when I will make them, etc. Basically, I get really in depth with all this shit. I feel like I shouldn't do it because I'd be giving myself exectations, which would then lead to pressure (which I do feel sometimes).

I attribute it to ADD because when I get bored I just start fantasizing and I'm not bored anymore. I honestly don't even have to be bored, I just start day dreaming like that sometimes. Is it my ADD or does this happen to a lot of you people?

THANKS :)

As someone with ADD, I can tell you it happens to me a lot.

You're anxious to impress, and stuck in you head trying to prepare yourself for every possible scenario. Too exhausting and robs you from being present. Look up Grounding Exercises or go listen to Eckhart Tolle's Power of Now. You just need to learn how to step out of your mind, so-to-speak and observe the thoughts without getting dragged into them/identifying with them too deeply. You can achieve this with practice and truly realize what being present in the moment is all about instead of exhausting yourself with all these thoughts and sabotaging your encounters with women.

If you are ADD check with your doctor about medication because it sounds like the current stuff you are taking isn't working. Strattera works very well for one of my clients in quieting down things without having a stimulant effect, it is quite expensive however.

Thanks HR, I'll definitely look into that.
