Post subject:  How long do you wait before texting?
I'm sure this has been answered but I couldn't find it anywhere.

After you number-close, how long should you wait before texting/phoning the girl?

Also, does it make a difference where or when you met the girl?

I've had success/rejection with waiting anywhere from 12 hours - 7 days and can't find the perfect formula. Advice is greatly appreciated, let me know.

text to phone as soon as possible

phone convo is much more personal, even better SPAM if you can

texting is 'safe' most women know it is sometimes they take advantage of that till some comfort is built, but women can also often detect when a guy is too scared to call so sticks to texting

I would wait 24-48 hours, no earlier no later and I'll explain
earlier: If you text her to early you'll seem clingy and even slightly desperate.
Later: She would probably just forget about you.
One more thing I like to do is for the first week or two I'll take my time texting her back but this is just a personal strategy. I feel that it builds the interest and tension for her and I get to make sure I'm texting the perfect lines.

Texting only comes from a needy place if you're a needy person. If you come off as confidant you can text a girl within minutes after meeting her and not signal the slightest bit of neediness. Before you text ask why you're doing so, if its to feel tethered to her then you're coming out of a place of neediness and will invariably project that.

Yep, Heavy has it correct.

You can wait 2-3 days, but still come off ass needy because when you're in that moment you can still project that vibe.

When I number close a girl, I ALWAYS TEXT IMMEDIATELY. Because then she will save my number in her phone, and will remember who I am.

If you wait long, her mood will change and it will be different from her mood during the interaction.

So when I'm running day game, I'll say something like "Lets go out sometime." And she'll be like "yeah for sure." Then I whip out your phone and tell them to put their number in. I'll talk for a few more secs, hug + kiss on cheek for goodbye. Then IMMEDIATELY send "It was nice meeting ya cutie - Name"

When I'm out at night... shit goes haywire. I'll usually get like 5+ numbers that night, however I won't text immediately. I'll wait until I'm free or when the club closes and I'll send a MASS TEXT. "Hey it was nice meeting ya cutie. Get home safe. -Name"

They'll do three things, "Thanks! Nice meeting ya too :)." or "What are you up to?" or not reply at all.

The first one you can game later, the second one you can fuck that same night, and the third one you can game later.

I kissed and number closed last night with an older woman, we'll call her "Big Michele." I texted her within five minutes of meeting her with a simple "Was nice meeting you tonight, it's [my name]" and I've set up a day 2 with her.

Don't wait too long, a female friend even told me that girls are aware that guys think there is a three day rule or something like that. Just do it.

Women are very insecure on the whole (lol didn't say "hole") a simple text after saying was "Nice meeting you. Mark" can go a long way to setting her at ease. Almost all women I know LOVE this.

I try waiting three days now. Long enough where it seems like you have better things to do than talk to her. But short enough where she will know that you have some interest.
