So I basically hate it when a guy is shorter than me, and that happens a lot. Buttttt I have a lot of really cute high heels that I would love to wear. Some of the guys I've been seeing recently are just taller than me, so I feel like I can't wear heels around them. I'm 5'10, so with heels 6' and up. I hate being tall. What do you guys think? |

I think many may be scared to speak the truth in reply to your question. I am 6'0" and as much as I love me some sexy legs (which seem to be accentuated by high heels), I am typically attracted to girls 5'4" and shorter. I know that is sucks when I meet a girl who is super cool and we hit it off, but she is 5'8" because I am physically not attracted to her for the long term. Do you find that guys become insecure if you put on heels and are then taller than them, or is it more inside of your own mind? |

I know a girl who does this because she has a minimum height requirement for guys. She says, "Unless the guy is as tall as me when I have heels on, I don't want to date him. This is my way of weeding out the short guys". This is actually spurious logic, because even tall men are generally attracted to meek, passive looks (i.e. delicate unintimidating girls, soft skin, smooth features). Some guys go for tall girls, but you are putting some men off with high heels, no doubt. It also depends on the type of heels. Razor-thin stilettos are more sexually aggressive than say, 70s platform boots or New Rocks. If you want to attract guys, you have to make him feel like a man, make him feel dominant. Personally I like the challenge of bagging a taller girl, but then again, I'm a bit like Rod Stewart, so don't use me as an example for "most guys". |

I've gotten mixed responses, but most commonly the guy is intimidated. Should I not go after guys who aren't giants? I feel like that's so limiting. |

Only you know what works and feels right for you. But if you are just out having fun and it does not matter in the long term, then why not go for the guys you're attracted to no matter how tall they are. Just remember that they may not last long if your height is a problem for the guy. As I said, I prefer them short and petite, but I do not exclude a cute tall girl in the short term. Wow, that sounds kinda shallow! |

It's not really my problem though. Yes I usually like guys who are taller than me, so I guess that's shallow, but it's also really awkward to kiss a guy who's shorter. But that's not the problem, it's that I'm unsure how guys feel about tall girls (specifically in heels). Like should I just not wear heels if the guy's going to be all intimidated? or do you think it's a case by case thing? Like some guys like it some guys don't.

I was being shallow, and for me a taller girl would be unattractive so I would not like it as much when they wore heels. |

A tall girl wearing heels is a sign of her having a lot of confidence in herself and confident guys like that. By wearing heels you are limiting the amount of guys who will approach you but the ones who do are better quality. If you're fine in approaching guys yourself then heels are a big asset as there's not a guy in the land who doesn't like a girl in sexy heels. My ex was 6'2" and wearing 4" heels when I met her (I'm 6'2" myself) and I noticed a lot of guys eyeing her up but nobody approaching...so I did. If a guy is 6' or over he knows he's tall and it's not an issue to him if his girlfriend is taller because he's not worried about his height. If a girl is 6' or over she knows 85% of guys are going to be smaller than her and accepts it to a point. If she's 6' she's tall, if she's wearing 4" heels she's still "tall". Heres some advice for an opening line for very tall girls...Never say "how tall are you?" your the twentieth person of the night to do so. There is a secret code in the tall girls life called "the fellow talley nod" Basically when two tall girls pass each other they will look each other up and down to see if the other is wearing very high heels. If they're not they will recognise a fellow "tally" and give each other a nod of recognition as they pass. Ask a tall girl if she has had a "fellow tally nod" when you open her. She'll be impressed by your social acuman. |

Chances are if a guy feels intimidated by a girl taller than him, he is still insecure and needs to work on his Inner Game. It's his perception and how he handles this factor that will either result in getting the girl or losing her. Height is just another factor that is irrelevant if the guy/girl is completely secure about it. Sure all people have their preferences. Although how many people have you seen date guys/girls outside their preferences. What makes those guys an exception? You see, he might not have the height however he may still have other factors that makes him attractive. Likewise your height shouldn't be a problem to him whether you wear heels or not. He either likes you for you, or doesn't. - Kang |

Honestly, I don't find any girl attractive in high heels unless she's very confident in them! As a tall guy I usually notice a tall girl before average or short girls. Everyone seems short to me, so when someone is taller, they seem to stand out, and grab my attention. I always hate it when I see a woman in heels and she's having trouble walking in them. Whether she is drunk or just clumsy. But when a girl is confident and can pull of heels, she comes off as classy and intelligent. So, I say, if you're going to wear the heels wear them like a you're one of those supermodels, and try not to get too drunk... WC |
