Basically met a HB8 got her number and we sent a few texts was a 5 minute job...met her ''hi how are you whats your name, you're new here best way to make friends is change numbers'' ...job done. Now we are both at uni on friday and i asked her for lunch next friday to which she said she goes 'gym after her seminar but has lunch at home Any ideas how to advance ? Cheers |

You didn't really build any rapport or anything before asking her to go to lunch with you. She risks wasting time with a weirdo who can't hold a conversation. I'm not saying that's how you are, but it's a possibility running through her mind. Next time try to build up a little more comfort first. |

Yes you can. But preferably, it would be best to do this when you see her on Fridays. You need to be sure to limit your texts and not become her "texting buddy" because that's a really shitty position to fall into. If you feel like text conversations are forced, just stop and try harder in person. |
