I hooked up with this girl and shes been really clingy ever since. She really likes me and tries to make it as obvious as possible.

Anyone meeting this girl for the first time would categorize her as an HB 7 or 7.5 But im not attracted to her anymore. She tries to act like a guy sometimes and shes a bit too tall, like 5'8"

But ive been quite depressed lately, and I feel like a GF would help with that. I Have no idea, because ive never had a GF. Im 18 by the way.

Basically I just want to know what are the benefits of having a girl friend? and will she bring hapiness even if I Dont like her?

First off, taking her as a girlfriend if you're not attracted to her is just a shitty thing to do. You'll probably mess her up emotionally, and no good will come out of it. If you have any moral at all, you don't use her in that way.

Secondly, do you enjoy hanging around with her? I've had a couple of stalkers myself, at first I didn't have anything against them, but after a short while you just get pissed off at them for slightest of things and they grow less and less attractive.

Whether having a GF will help you with your depressions depends. Ofcourse, it's nice to have someone who's there for you and someone that cares about you. But if it actually will help you is a different matter. And even if it helps, it will most likley end up with the depressions returning once your single again. My advice is to find a healthier way to deal with your depressions, get over them by yourself.

If you actually want her as a girlfriend, give her a shot. Hang out with her as a girlfriend (without making anything official, not even to her) and see if you actually develop feelings for her.
