So guys, do you think it's better to text or to call when using a girl's # for the first time? Idk about you guys, but I think texting kindof sucks for trying to build a connection with someone. |

I think it depends on how you got the number close. Were you able to build a good connection in person with her? Was it night or day game? |

If you think she might not remember your name or voice then text her. If you know she will know your name, call her for sure! Personally, I hate texts and i only use them if i really have to |

Idk, I guess it matters because getting a number and having it go to waste sucks. Also not knowing what to say sucks and when they all of a sudden stop responding bites too.@KimPa Yeah, I hate texts too. It seems like a good thing once you already know someone, but it doesn't give you much to work with. @Dr. Jones That sounds like a plan to me. What about someone who hasn't answered to several texts in a row and you stopped talking for a couple months. Could you use a phone call to revive it or do you think it is just dead? @Edrev_ This is all college game in general. Most of these connections aren't too strong. This girl in particular was a hb8 from class. I think the interaction with her might be field report worthy. You see, this is an 8am class and I usually struggle to wake up and look my best, I usually just roll outta bed and put on a hat. lol Its not so bad because after the class I have an hour to go back to the dorm and clean up for the day. But yeah, I notice this hot spanish chick who always wears tight sporty clothes and I put off talking with her until I could actually look my best, you know. However, I see her one morning and I was like f*ck it, Im going to try a scroungy pickup and see if it works, which to my surprise it did. Talk about an AA buster! I actually texted her on a sat about going over some notes on sunday like we planned. She didn't text back so the next day I call and left a voicemail. She returned my call almost immediately. Anyways today, we talked a bit in class but she seemed kind of distant to some degree, almost as if I might be giving her too much attention. I got this vibe, so when class was over I didn't waste any time leaving. I thought I'd go a bit cold on her and demonstrate the willingness to leave. Well here comes something cool... You see, I was a good distance down the hallway and hb8 was back there. Well I see another hb, a hb9 that I knew and I greeted her and she responded very warmly as she entered her class. Well hb8 saw this and then opened me and showed significantly more interest. I thought that was pretty cool. However, even with this I still have little idea with what to text or whatever. I feel like she's out of my league. It's like there's a mental barrier there. |
