Hi, i figured this might belong in the relationship forum but i think its more of a general thing as well, the thing is:

When my GF and i were in a bad period where we almost broke up i read some of here messages she send to some other dude, and it basically went like this

Dude: So who is more handsome me or your BF?
GF: You look the same
Dude: But if you had to say something?
GF: Id say you look better without a shirt on

(The guy had a six pack and more muscles then me)

So now i am going to the gym more often (cause i want it for myself, not to please her just so you know) but everytime she tells me stuff like

"Dont get too muscly!" or "Stay like you are now you look super good!" (While now im just a bit muscled but fat covering a bit) and she says "I like a big strong guy"

Now this is totally not logical considering she said the likes muscles and six pack shit and thought the other guy was better looking than me cause of his body.

Now after knowing all this, why does she not want me to get better in shape?

Ding ding ding! We have a winner!

In short, she doesn't want competition.

one of my personal rules is "ethical readininess".

always be ready to get into action in a ethical way. from business to personal life.

in a relationship that means "always keep a great shape, because if your relationship ends, you're ready to go!"
