I had an idea to make the most out of a situation I'm in and want to know what you guys think: My roommate was hooking up with this girl for a while, but she started talking to me today, and hopefully I can turn that into something. But at the same time, there are some really cute girls in some of my classes I've been talking to. My idea is to ask one of the girls from class "Do you think it's okay to date my roommate's ex?" ...which shows that I do have other prospects, and it's kind of a DQ of sorts... Bad idea, or genius PUA move? |

It sounds like a classic opinion opener only in your case it is actually more true to life. Try it out. It could definitely get some very interesting conversations going. |

I wouldn't be using it as an opener though- I'd use it on girls I already talk to. |
