Hey peeps. I've recently joined a running club. It's about half girls / guys. During the actual running I'm bombing it with a couple of guys at the front. The girls tend to be slower and a minute or two behind. It's not really practical to chat with them because of this. The opportunities for talking are the meeting point (5 to 15 minutes waiting for everyone). Or at the end when we stretch (5 to 10 minutes). I guess I could feign exhaustion and run back slowly to the starting point as well which gives another 10 minutes to chat while running. There are some nice chicks there and I get the occasional mundane chat with them. But I don't really know how to build attraction with them because we are outdoors in a group of around 20 and I worry that everyone will be able to read my motives. If I am talking to the girl I feel everyone watching and listening, and I get a bit of paranoia that they are all just waiting for me to fuck up so they can laugh at me/ push me down the social hierarchy. I value the club and don't want to embarrass myself. Even though I haven't had a gf in like 10 years I still feel reasonably confident. It's just that I can't seem to figure out the logistics. It seems like one big tactical rubix cube or something, and just isn't fun. Any advice on the running club, and these group issues in general? Thanks |
