Notice that you dont ask her IF she wants to meet but WHEN she wants to meet. So she can either reply (alternative 1) or (alternative 2) and doesnt have a chance to say no.

You have 2 options here. I would suggest just being straight out. Tell her, "Hey let's grab a quick bite" or "Hey i'll pick you up after work so we can hang out for a bit."

Or if you aren't the straight out type of guy use the CD to hangout with her.

"Hey I burned your CD. I'll drop it off" once you take her the CD take to her and hangout with her there. You're not just going to drop it off and bail.
