Post subject:  Advice requested about unanswered text
So about two weeks ago I met this HB9 in the airport a few hours before this flight to Spain, used a situational opener, lots of IOIs at the beginning but after a while the tiredness got to me (I had no sleep for over 30 hours at this point and was also feeling pretty sick because of it) and I just couldn't keep the game up anymore. Nonetheless she actually kept the conversation going although I couldn't keep my enthusiasm up and all I wanted at this point was to go to sleep. We sat together on the plane, exchanged numbers and then we went our own ways. Overall, good impression at the beginning which changed to bad towards the end :(.

3 days later, I sent her a text "I just saw a purple mini and it reminded me of you! :P Have you found an awesome present for your aunt yet? Tim" She drives a purple mini and she was going to her aunt's birthday in Spain + a 3 week long holiday!

2 days after the text, no reply but FRs me on facebook. 3 days after that I accept her.

I'm unsure what to do next since I don't want to text her again if she hasn't replied to my first text. Should I wait and see if she gets in touch with me when she returns to the UK? I'm inclined to think that she hasn't texted me because it wouldn't be a free text from abroad but that still makes her sort of stingy, right?


Any suggestions appreciated but I'm inclined towards just nexting her!

You waited to long mate
She forgot about you, when you get her number you call/text it directly infront of her to make sure it's even real
Once you build attraction don't let it die, text her one more time (2 texts isn't needy as long as you don't do it twice in a few days) and if she responds make a day2 if she doesn't - move on

I think you should text her a few more times. Women are real fickle when it comes to texts. she may not of got it, or may have intended to respond but forgot, or it may be logistics like you theorized. I've had women who ignored 4 or 5 texts in a row and I still fucked cuz I was patient. In your situation you don't have anything to lose by breaking some rules 2 or 3 days later and texting again. The rules about seeming needy apply to guys who , collected a number from a girl they most likely will see again in the same area in the future

It's real because she gave me her phone and I got it from there.

I wanted to text her on the day but I was slightly embarrassed to be honest because I ended up being in the worst shape possible towards the end, I just couldn't pull it together anymore. This was initially only going to be an opener practice for me, I never envisaged we would actually be on the same flight, etc. .. I knew I haven't got enough energy for that.

Thanks for your advices charblad and wingintyme! I'll text her again.. what about the text I sent her, would you improve that in anyway?
