Hi, I'm about to start college very soon so I started doing a little research on the environment and it's system. I recently read the book titled Conquer Your Campus and the author stated that doing cold approach is unacceptable there unless you want to be labeled as "that creepy pickup guy". By cold approach he was referring to the mystery method as was stated. So, my question is once you have established a good social circle in college is it okay to direct approach a girl you don't know by yourself without having the bad consequences? |

I can't tell you a lot about cold approaching, but as someone who recently returned to college and I've read CYC, I can tell you your best success will come from your social circle. College girls have hundreds, if not thousands of horny teenage boys out there to choose from, so having social proof is very key. Socially connected people don't have to "cold approach" new friends, they make them through their circles. Make friends through your classes, clubs, and sports - male and female. Because they will have other friends, including women. That's what CYC is all about - gaming the whole campus. Creating a huge social circle. |

Thanks Smash, really helped and also the book said something getting social connectors. How can I get the social connectors who can tell me the memo with parties because my previous group of friends were pretty dorky and getting accustomed to college game is a little new to me. |

best bet is to be a social connector. when u hear about a party or get invited to some event, invite other people. the number of ppl depends on the event. a party? go crazy spread the word to ppl, but if a few freinds are going to grab something to eat bring one person along. this does 2 things 1, it makes u seem like your never alone so u must be fun and 2. it will usually come back to you, when u invite ppl places they tend to return the favor and invite you out. jus make sure u introduce everyone this way when they start hanging out and some one goes so howd u guys me your name comes up. |
