In a group of people is it nessacary to interact with everyone even if that person has low social value, not to be mean but would interacting with this person make me look bad to others? Also I've noticed that if I interact with this type of person just saying very little but being nice they usually laugh at my jokes which triggers others to laugh and ultimately i look better. But is there going to be a stigma against me for interacting with this person? |

I guess this all depends. Is this a group that you're approaching? How do you know this person is low value? |

In this situation it's a kid in my friend group who comes around every once in a while and ik he's low value because everyone jokes about him when ever his name comes up but i was also wondering about in general like approaching a set if you could pick someone out as low value |

It's best to be seen as a friendly guy and interact with the entire set. If one of the girls feels ignored or disrespected then she will try to fragment the set or have you ejected, the others will feel obliged to side with their friend "Sisters before Misters" as they say. |

When you approach a group set give everyone equal attention. Dishing out who has high/low value within the first 10 minutes could create a problem. At that point you would be judging too quickly and don't know who really is the low value person. Give attention to them all and win over everyone.
