So, I've got a good friend. We met more than a year and a half ago. She and I hang out all the time. But we're not dating.

A lot of people think we've got something going on, but we don't. When I was first hanging out with her, we went to a casual dinner and after some nice conversation, when I offered to pay, she wanted to split the tab. From that moment, I thought, "All right, fair enough."

I didn't pursue it more than that at the time, and maybe I should have. But I just sensed maybe she wasn't into it. Didn't mean I couldn't have her as a friend. She's fun to hang around, but oftentimes I think "What if?" I wouldn't want to just sleep with her. I could do that, but I value the friendship over just one time in the sack. I already know all her qualities: I'd want a relationship.

To make matters worse, we both have given each other in-depth briefing on each other's past relationships, and she's always asked me for details whenever I hook up with someone. But she never dates anyone, and is long overdue to date.

Could you turn a friend like that into a gf? Is it possible?

Dude, she likes you, and as more than just a friend. Why do you think she asks for details whenever you hook up with someone? Because it's her way of hooking up vicariously with you.

yes, but the real question is, can you turn a regular girl in most situations into a girlfriend? cause if the answer is no, and you don't try to sleep with girls regularily and have trouble showing your feelings

then probably the answer to your question is no, cause if you can't approach girls that you don't care about and try to sleep with them, then you can't approach girls that you care about and try to sleep with them, you will not have any idea of where you are going with it, you will just sit around hoping she does something when she is a girl, and if you've met a few girls you have probably realized it is more likely to be a cold day in hell before a girl makes something serious happen

you've known this girl for how long? you like her and yet you haven't tried anything cause you ''just sensed maybe she wasn't into it'', well fuck that, who cares what she's into, if you like a chick, go for it, you might get surprised and find out she likes you to, she might turn you down, who cares, not going for it is guarenteed failure it is 1000% more certain you will fail by not trying

grab your nuts and step to this girl like you mean it, if it isn't meant to be, who cares, at least you know for certain instead of living in regret years later thinking, WHAT ABOUT SUZY JIZZBURGER, SHE WAS SO CUTE, I WISH I KNEW IF SHE LIKED ME, IF ONLY... *SIGH* :( , don't be that guy, do it for yourself so you can feel like you bossed the fuck out and did it your way, you didn't sit back in fear, you did what you felt like doing and it felt amazing no matter what happened as a result

Make a move, OR simply sit around like a chump and get crushed hearing how she's dating other guys. Which would you prefer?

I wouldn't be crushed if she dated someone else, though. I'd be happy for her. But like I said, I've noticed we're compatible in a lot of ways, and think, "Why not?"

I guess what I'm asking is, if I do go for it, do I just pile on more kino and change my frame, become increasingly sexual around her?
